Cherry Grove Vineyard is owned and carefully cared for by Bob Van Steenburg, his wife and his daughter. They live at the converted wheat farm which they planted with the able assistance of manager Stirling Fox and his crew. In addition to the Pinot noir and a number of fruit and nut trees, there is a small steep block of Riesling planted by the previous owner.
